It is MIES goal to be customer oriented and provide satisfaction to client’s requirements. From this point of view, due to an increasing demand for integrated turn-key solutions with one single point of contact for their execution, MIES devoted a specific team for such a type of scope so to successfully cover the complete project life cycle.
Predominantly integrated pharma systems include fill and finish equipment, a complete filling Line in collaboration with the most reputed vendors in the market, and MIES freeze-dryers, auto-loading systems, and a barrier system (oRABS, cRABS or isolator). Eventually the filling line may include all or part of the following equipment depending on the client’s approach, if bulk containers or ready to use containers are to be used: washer, sterilization and depyrogenation tunnel, filler, capper and, depending on the application, external vial washer.
Occasionally they may also include other up-stream or down-stream equipment for other purposes such as formulation, inspection and/or secondary packaging.
Sometimes in line with the customers requests MIES equipment scope could be limited to freeze dryers with the corresponding autoloaders, with third party barrier systems or the barrier system with third party freeze dryers and autoloaders.
MIES role in the various projects can also be different as per the client’s preferences, from being partners supplying part of the equipment to acting as contract holder for the complete supply, providing global project management and integrated control architecture and documentation package.
The project strategy can also be varied depending on customer’s preference, from separate FATs and final join SAT at client’s premises to a complete join FAT at MIES facilities before the SAT at client site.
MIES also treats those projects in which the scope can be fully covered with MIES equipment as integrated systems, but they involve different technologies and/or different MIES manufacturing sites, we call them, multi-technology or multi-discipline projects.
The project strategy may also include global project management for the complete scope or dealing with the specific project managers for each technology equipment.
